On April 16, Pastor Andrew Brunson did not celebrate Easter with his flock. Instead, he marked more than six months of confinement in a Turkish prison, where he is being held on charges of “membership in an armed terrorist organization.”

Germany funding Turkish DITIB works despite spy probes

Germany’s government has faced criticism for funding projects in partnership with the DITIB organization despite an ongoing spying affair. The Family Ministry says the projects have nothing to do with the alleged spies.
